All things where made through Him and without Him nothing was made that was made." When you think about it!" Jesus said to him "I am the way the truth and the life no one comes to the father except through me." (John 14:6) NKJV
One more day until we celebrate your birthday, tonight we make way for this mystical guy called Santa Clause. He is suppose to have magical powers, and please many children with sweets, toys, and stories of him. They have gotten away from why the world set aside the 25 th day of December, that the powers to be set aside this day to worship your birth; even though it's not when you where really born. We will save that for later.
You know it sure is a busy time of the year. My wife is just sewing away at the gifts she wants to give her family. Today it's 4:00 am on Christmas Eve, twelve hours before some children are up rearing and ready to go unwrap their presents, mostly in this country, and even in this rich nation there is still children and parents going without. So Hip-Hip to the charities.
Maybe we can go from city to city and announce if you want to be the start of a new city, ( You have to be homeless ) the Government can move you to a closed Military Base; that 'we' tax payers are still paying for, you can become a self supported city on it's own. But the way man thinks sooner or latter we would have the homeless again. "But it was a good thought".
What a Christmas present that would be!
They probably won't thank you Jesus, they would thank the Government because they have forgotten that in (John 1:13) NKJV everything is made by you.
Hey I have a thought, why don't we consider every day as the day of your birth, and on one of the days we will get it right.
When we set alone in our study, we should meditate, pray, read the scriptures, and commit the scriptures to memory. I am not talking about your physical mind, or heart, I'm talking about spiritualheart, and mind. Let me tell you there is a big difference! When we finally commit ourselves to our Lord and Saviour, we become a spelunker with the word of God. We have learned to slow down and take it step by step, so we don't fall into a deep pit. 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV says Study to show thyself approved unto God a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. For many years men and women have tried to shut their Creator out of the picture. It's like the little lady, that I approached about eternal security for all ages to come. Her words were oh no here it comes; i'm so tired of hearing this. But did she really hear what is being said, dose she really understand. You see hopefully we understand that this is the 21 century, and with all the technology we have today, everyone should have heard the word, but with all of the disbelieving, confusion, chaos, the world is walking around like a chicken with his or hers head cut off, the end results is Death. We as little Jesus-es, thats what Christian means. Paul told Timothy and Titus not to let outsiders dilute your faith in Jesus.
I have a problem, Your Son's Apostle's said not to forsake the assembly, that is the coming together of your children, to learn how to understand the secrets of the Bible (basic-information-before-leaving-earth). We have shown them the answer to those questions by study, that is research, commentaries, listening to Your words, not just through the written word, but also everything I can get my hands on. And more than that meditating on what You have to say by listening and contemplating on what is said to me. Sometimes people ask the same question a different way to get I think clarity on what they have learned today; How can I get them to understand and move on? Sometimes as a Minister of the gospel (the good news) I feel like a failure, even though Your words will never come back void of meaning. So as Ministers where do we go from here? I ask you Father! So many people do not want to do a conventional service, there is so many television Evangelist, Missionaries, Preachers that offer a different way to heaven by just being a good person. People feel that they can worship there God alone in their home. Where is the balance? They can't seem to understand that Your Son Jesus paid the price for Your free gift as said in Ephesians chapter 2 : 8-10. So God help the folks out thereknow if they don't understand that you only have to give up an eternity in a very hot place. Some feel that they just die and get buried, and that's as far as they go. Well okay! Just let them pick up the Bible. Yes, I said the Bible; try it you might like it, it's full of wonder.
Today was a wonderful day! " I am alive," every day that I get up, is a good day. Every day that I pray is a great day, talking to you makes me feel safe, Just to let you know I am very sorry for letting my study time get taken up with other jobs, instead of staying on task. I wanted to let You know my wife is not feeling well, she can't sleep, I don't know why but it get's me worried!
Please God look out for my family, because You can see things that I can't, You hear things that I can't, and You can do things that I can't, so let's try them together. I know there is nothing going to happen today that You and I can't handle together. It always takes more than just one. I can pray alone but usually you are always there anyway. Oh yeah thank you for our home and new car without You, we could of never gotten them on no money down. I know you were just doing what You do. You are really in the blessing business, even when we don't ask for the blessings. You tell us ask, seek, and knock. I always ask you to let me see the things not normally seen, hear the things not heard, and find what is hidden from me, I want You to commit my knowledge to my heart not just my mind, again I want You to be first in my life not last. I also want to reach not just the lost but especially my sister in law Scarlett she is Yours but has fallen away we love her very much. This is our fervent prayer to You but not just the only prayer.
"The Lord said after this manner therefore pray ye:" Our Father which art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation , but deliver us from evil: For thine is the Kingdom, and the Power, and the Glory, for ever Amen. This is found in Matthew 6: 6-13 (KJV) after that He describes the Parable and the prayer, to his Disciples. You can keep reading chapter 6 and chapter 7. The second chapter of this Prayer is also found in is Luke 11:2-4. This was given as a model prayer to the Disciples for it to be passed on to us. "But the lords prayer is this;" Saying Father if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. And there appeared an Angel unto him from Heaven, strengthening Him. And being in an agony He prayed more earnestly: and His sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. Christ showed his flesh and His [Godly manner] all in the same time. The drops of sweat was a prelim to the Cross. The view I bring from this is, wither you agree or not. Is that he gave us this prayer to learn in the Milk of the word, but when you study further in and grasp the meat of the word, you will find out that to have prayer answered you need to have Faith, Fast, Pray, come before Him with a song in your heart, and with Fear and Trembling. And then after all that you Meditate on the word. See Christ doesn't want us to be like the Pharisee's the law worshiper's and the Sadusee's Priest of that time. He Christ called them a den of Vipers. So why don't we be like the Publican in Luke 18:10-14 (KJV) I hope and pray that this reaches home to those who struggle with prayer life. I Love you all in the name of Ya'Shua, Jesus Christ.

I heard all of my life that the sky is the limit! As you are coming up in age you repeat to others what you are taught. But do we always hear the truth? When we're young, we do not necessarily know if it's the truth or not. I have heard other people make statements and say that's the truth. And of course when you have heard something similar, but in the right context meaning something entirely different, than what they were using it for. (By the way I have first hand knowledge of those kind of statements.) I used them all the time, and of course I didn't take the time to check out my facts, before I was taught the difference. Remember this in ( Proverbs 25:11 ) KJV A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver. Once again there is an old point made. It's better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and be known as a fool. The Bible tells us in Proverbs also, not to lean on our own understanding. So check things out , get your ducks in a row, you will be better off for it. Now that we have that out of the way! Back to the Sky is the limit, this is temporal thinking. Temporal means you are limited to this world of thinking. My question to you is! Why do we have to limit ourselves to this world of thinking ? God says His ways are not our ways, His thoughts are not our thoughts, and look what He did, Einstein was Dyslexic and look what he did! But just remember; God said He chose us we didn't choose Him. So through Him ( Christ Jesus ) we can do all things. So we are not just limited to Temporal thinking, and the sky is not just the limit, we can go far beyond the sky. We can go into the Heavens, with nothing to impede us, mountains can't stop us, oceans can't stop us. We can have the same thinking that the athletes have that they have to succeed; they work until they prefect their skills. They win Gold Medals for their accomplishments. But Jesus is going to give us Golden Crowns, and to make sure this happens, let us start thinking Spiritual not Temporal.

Healing
Sister Lori, who is the wife of the associate Pastor Jack Easley, had been going without Medical treatment for 10 years. Why you ask? She just couldn't afford insurance. So we got in touch with a place called Crossroads medical clinic. It's a clinic started by our Baptist Association, so I called the people in charge. ( The reason I called them was because I had to use their services a while back but that's a story for another time.)
But back to Lori! Needless to say she was in bad shape, her doctor said to her she should be dead. She had to be put into the ICU unit when her blood pressure was 220 over 180, and her blood count was at 4, at the number 8 she should have had a blood transfusion. The doctors were saying she had a bleeding ulcer. Crossroads doctor said she needed some tests that she was having to wait on, so Lori was getting worse and worse. But going back to the Sunday before she was put in the hospital. Her church family anointed her with oil and laid hands on her and prayed for a healing, not just to feel better, but a total healing. She told us in her testimony that day that she wasn't scared at all; that she had turned it all over to the Lord. While she was in the hospital, she received all the tests she needed, 5 units of blood, and she had a scope put in her to see where the ulcer was. But guess what, they couldn't find an ulcer, anywhere! I mean not a trace, praise the Lord.
This Sunday she told her story in Sunday School , and what a wonderful day in the Lord we had. The Spirit was moving every where, in the singing, the preaching, even after we dismissed everyone hung around talking, fellowship was going on everywhere. I received one of the biggest blessings I have ever had ( Whoo Hoo ) as the Spirit stirred within me. In the 7th chapter of Mark, verse 37 we can see what the people were proclaiming about Jesus after they witnessed His healing. "He had done all things well." There is no better description for what God can do. While Jesus was here among us he never did anything part way. The crippled walked away, happy and healthy. The blind man could see clearly and the deaf not only got his hearing back, he was able to speak clearly. That is how God works. He doesn't do anything halfway....he does all things well. Praise the Lord!
I have found out that some times I write like I talk. That's pretty embarrassing when you send it to someone who is a good speller. So, I have decided, that I will have my wife edit everything I do from now on. She was a columnist for two years with a local newspaper called the Navarre News. The column was called Cindy's Kitchen. She wrote stories about the recipes of family members and told stories about them in the process. Let me tell you that this woman, my wife, Cindy, can write. Cindy can spell with the best of them. She says she can't write! So its no big deal that she can take a chewed up pencil and make you want to take a vacation on it. I've told her many times that she needed to write a book or a cookbook, but she always has a reason why she can't write it. Well maybe one day! Miracles do happen don't ya know. I wonder how God feels when people don't use the physical gifts that he gave them when he created us. You can find out how he feels about us by reading Psalms chapter 139. Yes the whole chapter is really a good read. Try it, you might just like it; don't be afraid, Just open the Bible (Basic Information Before Leaving Earth ) I have had minimal teaching in Diction, Writing, Spelling, or even throughout school, English was not one of my favorite subjects. English Lit.; now I loved English Lit. Mr. Clark was one great teacher and a wonderful friend to me after I left. For me, school, was over, and I left for other journeys I had to take.
I was so caught up in the things that I wanted to accomplish, that I just never stayed with the basic grammar and spelling and to learn about it. Have you ever heard the saying "keep it simple, stupid"? We should never make things more complicated than they really are. That is how a lot of people are with accepting Jesus as their savor; they think, what do I have to give up? What will my friends think of me? I don't want to be called a Jesus freak! Oh no here comes the Bible thumper. If you ever want to be alone an elevator just start talking about Jesus. It will take only one or two floors to be completely by yourself... with twenty floors left to go.
Well Jesus did tell us to go into our prayer closets, to communicate with Him. So make the best of your time. You still have those twenty floors to go to talk with God. You'll will come out in a better mood than when you went in - you are set for the rest of the day. A smile is still contagious, even today. Did you see on the news channels where a man or woman wants to break the "hug me" record? People today seem to be in such a hurry that they don't have time to be loved. Give them a smile, it's an acknowledgment that you care about them. Be nice to people, and many will want what you have.
Did you see how I went from writing, to talking about the Lord, and how it makes people feel. Well I feel just great! And I hope you do to.
1We study the word of God so that we can we can show ourselves approved.
2So that we will not be ashamed.
3So that we can rightly divide the word of truth.
4Be an accepted workman.
This is 2 Timothy 2:15 everyone that has been told how to study, we quote this verse.
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
So tell me what dose dividing the truth mean? Dose it means to cut it in many pieces, or just cut in half. If you really want to know the half of it, you will find out who, what, when, where, how and why. You can open your self up to the great mysteries of the world, go places that you thought you would ever go, so climb into your time machine and go back to the past or reverse the date module and go into the future. Etc.
Listen when you have the whole truth and nothing but the truth in your heart, not just your head, you will be ahead of the game. You may ask why! When you read the book of Luke, you will see in verse 2:51 that his mother kept all these sayings in her heart not her head. You do not worry about what you are going to say, because God will speak through you, he will go out before you, he will be with you side by side, he will carry your burdens for you, he won’t let you be over whelmed, and he will stop you, before yougo blunder into things you can’t handle. All that comes with Jesus’ in your heart and spirit and with him there, you can overcome everything or anything.
All this will help you be the strongest workman you can be, “it’s not just a job it’s an adventure!” So let’s kick the tires and light the fires because we are in for a ride. And needless to say you will not be ashamed to go up to someone you don’t know and talk to them about you savior.

Ephesians’ 6 tell me to shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel with peace, that is just on piece, of the whole armor of God to put on for the battle. I fought the fight, run the race, I finished the course. There is nothing to cover the back side of a Christian because Jesus never expected us to turn around and run. The peace part; is the love of Jesus, which you and I should have for everyone, accepting everything holding your toung wither you like it or not. Come with peace not anger, come with acceptance not with accusations, kinds heart not a heart of stone.

He tells us not to lean on our own understanding, Seek the wisdom of the elders, he says to be quick to hear and slow to speak. The scriptures also say bridle your toung. There is an old saying it’s better to be thought a fool and then open your mouth and be known as a fool.
In Matthew 11:29 Jesus says learn of me, not only learn of me, he says I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest unto you soul. So if you want to study, or shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel, and learn of him. Read the Bible; study the basic information before leaving earth.
Fourth
Then we see the bad side of things so beware, and don’t do this.
According to Proverbs 22:25, it is talking about men that would do evil to one of Gods own.So learn this you stay around a person that will not change his ways and you just might start acting the way he dose, the scripture says if you learn his ways and you might just get yourself into a snare, well that’s not learning of God is it ? Isaiah tells us to learn to do right! Seek justice, relieve the oppressed, and to correct the oppressor. Defend the fatherless; plead for the widow, which was verse 1:17. What are you doing when you pray, the way the lord taught us? In Jeremiah it tells us this, Thus says the Lord: Learn not the way of the heathen, (nation) and be not dismayed at the signs of the heavens, though they are dismayed at them. Jer.10:2 these are the people that we have to reach, even if they call us foolish. This is what a man said to Paul one time; as Festus was speaking to Paul he said with aloud voice, I guess Paul wasn’t to close to him, he said, thou are beside thyself; much learning doth make the mad. So Paul said to Festus I am not mad, but speak forth the words of truth and soberness.
The last statement that the Lord would say to us is if we continue on his course not our own. Is well done, well done, wink at us and say well done my good and faithful servant enter into the joy of the Lord?
I have watched the comments made on facebook ! About this game or that game, or how it's down for maintenance. Just think about it when you first started on ( FB ), how ever long you have been on, 1 month to 6 years. The one that has been on for the month has inherited the problems that you see today. The 6 year folks has went through many growth problems, and as the people that own ( FB ), try to accommodate the millions that are on ( FB ) now. They just try to give you more things that will peak your interest, and the more stuff that is on their servers, the more crowed it gets. We still seem to be a nation, no world of instant gratification, we call our children the we want it now generation. But we seem to fall into that category ourselves. What if Jesus said " ( Who was called Emanuel )" "( That being interpreted God with us)". What if instead of him being thirty and starting his ministry, that at twelve when he was in the temple astonishing the uper crust of Theologians and Priest, that at twelve he said to them" (I am God )"! The one who led my people through the wilderness, said I am King and I want it now, today. Do you think that Christianity would be the same today? "No I don't think so"! So far he has been waiting for over two thousand years to fulfill his destiny. So now let's remember that ( FB ) is just human and humans fail, we never live up to any bodies expectations. So let's be be like or savior the Lord Jesus Christ, or Ya'shua, or even Joshua, the name means the same, (Salvation). So we should have the patience of Job, because Jesus has been been waiting a actual really long time, they call him the Ancient Of Old.
Well the second month is upon us. I thought we just celebrated New Years day, and all the college football games that lead up to it, and then the big one, the National Championship game. And now the Super Bowl is here, you have got to admire New Orleans, they really know how to come back from a disaster. Guy's listen if your wives can sit and watch the Super Bowl with you, and wait on you hand and foot. Getting you the drinks you ask for, the dip you want, so you won't miss a play by play, and your all worn out from all of the adrenaline you wasted while you were like you where in an old country church lifting your hands and shouting, pointing, clapping your hands, and sitting back out of breath, in your living room or den. And your wife said " wow that was fun." You better look out! Why! Because on February the Fourteenth this is her day, her 'Supper' Bowl, and you better remember the seventh just a week before, and what she did for you because deep down most women doesn't like football at all. But because she loves you, she acts like she dose. So men tighten up your belt around your waist and make this day the most special day of her life. Because if the women is not happy the man is not happy. As Dr. Phil says don't mess with the nest. So don't forget Valentines Day she will love you for ad least a month or even till the next you screw up in her eyes. You at least had one day of bliss.
